About

In October 2023, a library committee was formed to help give the school library a major face lift. The committee, Ruth Fees, Susan Greenfield, Tricia Spencer, and Jennifer Wilson along side Jess Buller, sat down to imagine what the space "could be". The vision of the space was of a place that could be used by all the students, staff as well as the greater community. The school was given $40,000 from the Cooper-Clark Foundation to start the project. The project also received $1,000 from GN Bank, Splitter Farms & Seed Conditioning and Invenergy. The school also additional donations from Weber Water, Scherler Sales, Eads Auto Supply, and Crow's Stop and Shop. The library also had assistance from the Colorado State Library, the Colorado Library Consortium, and the Kiowa County Public Library. The Plainview School Library looks forward to serving the school and community for years to come. Please come in and check out the changes!
